[jira] [Commented] (CASSSIDECAR-292) Setup CI against HEAD nightly for each supported C* branch in the sidecar repo

Jon Haddad commented on CASSSIDECAR-292:
----------------------------------------
I think instead of testing nightly, it would be better to test on every commit and every PR. Then we can merge with more confidence directly from the PR.
I can do something pretty similar to the GH actions I'm adding to cassandra-easy-stress. Here's the PR, in case anyone's curious what that looks like: [https://github.com/apache/cassandra-easy-stress/pull/59]
It would be extremely helpful if someone could give a brief explanation of what needs to run in CI.
Similar to cassandra-easy-stress, I can make the build available as well.

> We need to have nightly post-commit runs against HEAD on each Cassandra branch nightly to catch any CI drift on review/merge races.
