[jira] [Created] (YUNIKORN-2976) TryAllocate() can fail for DaemonSet pods if reservation already exists

Craig Condit created YUNIKORN-2976:
--------------------------------------

Summary: TryAllocate() can fail for DaemonSet pods if reservation already exists
                 Key: YUNIKORN-2976
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YUNIKORN-2976
             Project: Apache YuniKorn
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: core - scheduler
            Reporter: Craig Condit
            Assignee: Craig Condit

If a DaemonSet pod is reserved, and then subsequently attempted to be scheduled in TryAllocate(), the existing reservation will fail to be removed, spamming the log with warnings and preventing the allocation from succeeding.
