[jira] Created: (HTTPCLIENT-849) There is no link to javadocs on
the main project page
There is no link to javadocs on the main project page
-----------------------------------------------------
Key: HTTPCLIENT-849
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HTTPCLIENT-849
Project: HttpComponents HttpClient
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Documentation
Affects Versions: 3.1 Final
Environment: Mac OS 10.5.6
Reporter: J Irving
On the HttpClient home page:
http://hc.apache.org/httpclient-3.x/index.html
There is no link to the javadocs for HttpClient. Nor is there any obvious way to get to them from there.
In fact, I have never been able to find javadocs via that web page, and have only ever been able to find them by pasting the full package name and class name (or method name) of a component of HttpClient into google.
I don't believe I am alone in noticing this gap.

True. Maven puts it under "Project Reports" by default, which is not obvious at all.

Anyone willing to put efforts into resolving this issue is more than welcome to do so. If no one volunteers I'll close this issue as WONTFIX. I personally see no point investing any more time and effort into 3.x code line.
