I have installed HDP-2.6.2.0 on my cluster. In the admin view, the version installed on the cluster is shown as 2.6.3.0-235.(Attached screenshot1.jpg)
The version is same irrespective of which version is actually installed on the cluster at step1(installer flow).

However, while registering a new version through the admin view, the version is set to appropriate value.(Attached screenshot2.jpg)
