How to use the TEI

Hi,

Iam a novice .

I dont understand as to how to harness the power of TagExtraInfo .
Basically ,I dont understand what exactly it is for .

Can anybody help me or point me to a useful resource on the net ??

Here's the url to the JSP1.2 Spec

some light on the topic.
I don't use them much. As I understand it, they are used to expose variables
associated with a customer tag(in a specified scope) to the JSP page so that
you don't have to explicitely declare them. This allows tags to "share"
data. Sorry I don't have a more explicit example. You may find some if you
browse the Struts source code or examples.
