configure hangs on Max OS X 10.4
When building 1.1.4 from source:
neon configured properly
checking for any extra libraries neon needs... -L/usr/local/packages/subversion-1.1.4/lib -lz -L/usr/lib -Wl,-search_paths_first -lgssapi_krb5 -lkrb5 -lk5crypto -lkrb5support -lcom_err -lresolv
checking for static Apache module support... no
checking for Apache module support via DSO through APXS...
and there it hangs.

I suppose so since I didn't touch Apache in any way on my
machine.

Are you using the built in apache with OS X? It's only 1.3.33, not a
2.0 series. That might be the problem. Still doesn't explain why it
would hang. I would think configure would get an invalid response and
die.
