[jira] [Comment Edited] (GORA-341) Switch mapping file root element to use OTD instead of ORM

gora-otd ;)

I see now this issue. Very good point the change of name. Although it is already commited, just share some thoughts. I usually named Gora as "Object Mapper" since was not aimed exclusively for relational data, and after reading this issue I would call it "Object Datastore Mapper" - ODM.

At this time, I found [this paper|http://cabibbo.dia.uniroma3.it/pub/ondm.pdf] from [Francesca Bugiotti|https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Francesca_Bugiotti/publications] and [Luca Cabibbo|http://scholar.google.com/citations?user=myOQbxkAAAAJ&hl=en] talking about "Object NoSQL Datastore Mapper" and [Impetus' Kundera|https://github.com/impetus-opensource/Kundera/wiki/Object-to-NoSQl-Data-mapping] as ODM.
I find that paper a bit incomplete since it does not name Apache Gora :(

Just I leave here my comment for - maybe some day - discussion :)

> The tutorial documentation mentions Gora as an Object-to-Datastore mapper.
> "Unlike other OTD (Object-to-Datastore) mapping implementations, in Gora ..."
> However, the mapping files provided for the tutorial use a "gora-orm" root tag. For consistency, it would be great to have these line up.
