I don't feel like this is something we should do. This should be achieved by firing multiple SELECT queries in parallel, one per table.

Unless you feel really strongly about it and have very good reasons that I'm missing, I'm inclined to close as "Not a Problem".

CASSANDRA-8855, on the other hand, is something we should absolutely implement - and going to do just that, in fact.
