This is working correctly for me. If you continue to have problems, you might
be interested in the new locale-sensitive numeric validations I just committed
for 1.3 - floatLocale and doubleLocale. Feel free to reopen if you can provide
a repeatable test case (unit tests preferred :)) Thanks.
