Continuum v1.0.3...?

Hi all,

Is this ready for release yet? I saw voting, but no final conclusion.

I am about to install a copy of v1.0.2, and was hoping to put in v1.0.3
instead if possible.

Regards,
Graham

Can we document this?

This isn't documented, and therefore isn't a solution.

Had I not seen Continuum run on Windows before trying it on MacOSX, I
would have just assumed Continuum was no longer maintained and would
have just dumped the project. There is a high expectation of quality
expected from ASF code, code that breaks out the box with no explanation
should not be formally released.

the wrapper doesn't work with some macosx.

You can run bin/plexus.sh instead

There is lots of reports of this problem in Google, but no solution, apart
from this tantalising clue:

http://dev.pols.co.uk/jira/browse/BJ-164

Seems "Java Service Wrapper" was upgraded to fix this problem.

Considering that the v1.0.3 candidate is broken out the box on MacosX, and
considering there is no documentation or warning in v1.0.3 that it is
broken out the box on MacosX, I'd say this RC should be fixed before
release.

Running it on MacOSX v10.4.6 gives the following error with console,
neither start nor restart cause continuum to start.

Graham-Leggetts-Computer:~/src/continuum-1.0.3-SNAPSHOT minfrin$
./bin/macosx/run.sh console
Running continuum...
wrapper | --> Wrapper Started as Console
dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: Symbol not found: _ftime

/Users/minfrin/src/continuum-1.0.3-SNAPSHOT/bin/macosx/wrapper

dyld: Symbol not found: _ftime

/Users/minfrin/src/continuum-1.0.3-SNAPSHOT/bin/macosx/wrapper

Hi,

you can try this : http://www.codehaus.org/~evenisse/continuum/
It's the RC.

Normally, 1.0.3 will be release soon.

Emmanuel
