I suggest that you address you problem on a user-support forum like
http://httpd.apache.org/userslist.html

When you do so, please be more specific about exactly what your configuration
looks like, where the files are located, what type of files they are, and
exactly what the error message is.  (501 is not "file not found", so there
must be a mistake somewhere.)
