Examples app: Getting the example for form-base authentication t o work on IIS 5.0 & Tomcat 4.0.2

Hi all,
 
I am on IIS 5.0, W2k SP2, and Tomcat 4.0.2.  Right after installing Tomcat,
I could not get to the /examples/jsp/security/protected/index.jsp in the
examples app that comes with the Tomcat installation to work.  I get access
denied.  This page is the example for FORM-Based authentication.  I left all
the configuration the way it came.  I can get to other jsps ok.
Should the examples work right off the batch or do I have to do any
configuration (beside getting the workers.properties,
uriworkermap.properties, and the tomcat_user.xml set).
