Why/Where is go needed (inside `.build/docker/ubuntu2004_test.docker`) ?
go is only needed for the `check` target. this should be done once early in any CI pipeline, not repeated in every test split/worker…
are we confusing this with the `apache/cassandra-testing-ubuntu2004-java11-w-dependencies` image, and is circleci running `check` using it ?
