                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/struts/browse/STR-3176

            Reporter: Jani

Hi all,

I am having problem with LookUpDispatchAction while using on VM Ware (virtual machine).

I am using Struts 1.1 and Weblogic 8.1 (SP4)

Actions which extend LookUpDispatchAction are not functioning in Virtual Machine (I am using java script to submit the form).

Same application if deployed on a physical machine does not have any issue.

Any help? urgent please.

Thank you,
Jani.

Hi Paul,

Thank you for responding. Sorry for late reply, I took a short Christmas break.
I hope you had a good Christmas too.

Few things I metioned incorrectly are..

I am using SP6 of Weblogic 8.1 and I am using Struts 1.2.8.

In some forms which extend the 'LookUpDispatchAction' I am submitting the forms using JavaScript where I am appending the URL such as
'SomeAction.do?method=Submit'.

After submitting the form as mentioned above, it displays 'Page can not be displayed' and then if I refresh the browser it is going to the actual page.

We never had this problem on physical machines.
Recently we started testing the application on virtual machines and getting this problem.

I believe I provided the required information.

Waiting for your response.

Thanks in advance,
Jani.

Jani, thank you for the follow-up, but I cannot determine the cause based on this information. Can you load up your debugger and perhaps give me a report on what you find within Struts? Where is it acting different?

Jani, I cannot assist you without further information. Try Struts 1.3.10 to see if the same problem exists. If you have a problem, tell me what it is.
