[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YARN-3662?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15352410#comment-15352410 ]

---------------------------------------------------------------
Attaching v1 of the Federation StateStore APIs. The APIs include:
* _FederationMembershipState_ which encapsulates the YARN (sub)clusters that are participating in Federation.
* _FederationApplicationState_ which is mapping between the Application and it's home (sub)cluster.
Please refer to the [design doc|https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/attachment/12733292/Yarn_federation_design_v1.pdf] in the parent JIRA (YARN-2915) for further details.
