   We would need to for the Maven Nar plugin and improve it. It's doing something really crazy and downloading the internet when the Nar file gets created. 
   The progress pauses after the Nar file generation gets to this point:
   ```
   [INFO] Generating documentation for NiFi extensions in the NAR...
   ```
   In code it happens here: https://github.com/apache/nifi-maven/blob/ccca6f239ff0738cbf226f22d08d3bdd796c30eb/src/main/java/org/apache/nifi/NarMojo.java#L520
   There is no way to disable or control this at the moment.
