Graphs->SVG (Graphing Packages)

I'm looking for a low cost below $1,000 that will provide me professional
Graphs in SVG output to include in a FOP/PDF.  This graphing package will
also need to run on Linux.  I'm currently thinking of using Ploticus.  Is
anybody using this?  I need very professional looking graphs at low cost.
