problem using cout in xml-xerces version 1.1.0 on Solaris 2.6 usi ng Sun Workshop compiler 5.0

I recompiled xml-xerces 1.1.0 on Solaris. I then recompiled the sample
programs. When I ran the DOMCount program it would hang. It was hanging on
line 230 of file DOMCount.cpp (revision 1.6). Here is the code:

        cout << xmlFile << ": " << duration << " ms ("
             << elementCount << " elems)." << endl;

I determined that this code causes problem only after parser.parse() gets
invoked. This code will not cause problem if invoked before the parse
method. Then all subsequent writes to cout will work.

The following simpler code will also cause the same problem:

	unsigned long test=5;
	cout << test;

Posted by Arundhati Bhowmick <ar...@hyperreal.org>.
Can you give some more details in order to sort out the problem -
Is DOMCount the only sample showing this problem or its there in others too?
What version of Solaris and compiler are you running on?
