[users@httpd] Caching support in Apache 2.x proxy

Hello,

We have been using the caching functionality of 1.3.x apache proxy in our
production currently. We are in the process of migration to 2.x. We are
almost ready to move to production. But the caching module being part of the
experimental module raised a big concern. Also, we noticed that the default
action is "cache enabled" in the 1.3.x and "cache disabled" in 2.x. In other
words, we had to include a few domains in NoCache to exclude from cache in
1.3.x whereas we have to list all the possible domains with CacheEnable disk
in 2.x which seems to be a problem if we have a big list.

Is my understanding correct? Is there a solution available currently? If
not, can this be included in the next release? Is that 2.1 dev or 2.2 dev?

Thanks in advance,
N.Nayak
