[jira] Commented: (IVY-459) nice to have optional pom dependencies documented

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IVY-459?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12705412#action_12705412 ]

Marc Logemann commented on IVY-459:
-----------------------------------

Furthermore it would be nice if there was a doc explaining not only how to exclude optionals via "conf=default", but also how to INCLUDE only SOME optionals of the POM.

> This comes from Xavier's answer (which solved the problem) to a question I asked on the mailing list:
> It'd be nice to document the optional transitive dependencies can be turned off by only asking for the "*->default" conf on the "root" dependency.
