MyFaces VariableResolverImpl

Sorry to keep harping on this but could some please tll me how the
request variable gets resolved in an EL expression
like...#{request.serverName}? I'm looking through the source and can't
figure out where it happens...I look through the source for JSF-RI 1.2
and it's quite easy to find how that variable gets resolved...so what
magic is myfaces using?
                                        Thanks,
                                              Galen

Anyone know why #{request.serverName} doesn't return anything and logs
a '[VariableResolverImpl] Variable 'request' could not be resolved.'
message? I'm debugging through the VariableResolverImpl class and
don't see how the request object would ever get returned. But I know
it worked without facelets. Any ideas or am I just missing something
entirely?
                           Thanks,
                             Galen

You would need to look into the VariableResolverImpl.

HTH,
