We are also trying to integrate a portal with a CMS.
Our main objective is that we want the website implementation to be
independent of the CMS, forum, blog, etc. We are used to integrating
applications with the CMS and let the CMS front control them. This
doesn't work in the long run (too many hacks needed).
A portal seems like a good solution. Does anybody know about any
whitepapers on this matter?
Best regards,
Zoran
