Displaying a Wait Screen

I wish to display a wait screen for the user while a request is being
processed that takes some time.  What is the easiest way to do this?  I am
submitting a form that is to be processed and validated as an ActionForm.
Right now, I have the process running normally.  I submit the form, process
and go to the results jsp at completion.  If I have validation errors, I
return to the input screen with error messages and the previously entered
data is displayed.  How can I get a wait screen working AND preserve this
functionality with as few nuances as possible.

I have read a few articles and suggestions that will work outside of
struts.  I need one that is struts-friendly.  There must be a struts
best-practice solution for this.
