Patch Set 4:

Just thinking about - presumably this has the ability to unexpectedly change behaviour (if auth_to_local exists, but Impala is set up in the expectation that it will be ignored). What do you think about adding a command-line flag to supress this behaviour by default until we've trialled it for a release or two?
