[jira] [Created] (NIFI-3578) Allow user to configure whether
Provenance Events are stored/indexed
Mark Payne created NIFI-3578:
--------------------------------
Summary: Allow user to configure whether Provenance Events are stored/indexed
Key: NIFI-3578
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-3578
Project: Apache NiFi
Issue Type: New Feature
Reporter: Mark Payne
Assignee: Mark Payne
In a Processor's configuration dialog, users should be able to configure how the Provenance Events are stored:
1. Stored and Index (made searchable) - this should be default and is how it works today.
2. Stored Only - Events will not be indexed and cannot be searched but are available to reporting tasks for exfiltration / processing
3. Not Stored - Events generated by this Processor will not be stored or indexed. They are simply discarded.
