mod_auth_ldap: denying access after a while

Hi all,

I've been having some odd behaviour from mod_auth_ldap, wondering if
anybody else has come across this.

If you configure basic authentication against LDAP, it seems to work
fine. You can log in with a correct password, and it lets you in. You
can log in with an incorrect password, it doesn't, so far so good.

Come back a few hours later having left it for a while, and suddenly all
attempts to connect fail like this:

[Tue Mar 09 05:10:02 2004] [warn] [client 165.165.103.94] [460]
auth_ldap authenticate: user someone@domain authentication failed; URI
/url/ep_nav.swf [User not found][No such object]

Anybody come across this? I am running Apache v2.0.49.

Regards,
Graham
