Parsing plain text files with fixed width layout

Does FUSE ESB provide any BC or SE for parsing plain text and automatic xml creation, with features like in FlatPack?

I've not seen FlatPack before, this is cool! We could easily use this
from a custom marshaler in ServiceMix. We can easily develop a  custom
marshaler that uses FlatPack for various conversions. For some info
about marshalers in ServiceMix, see the following page I'm working to
