Problems with german umlauts by using jmeters http-proxy

Summary: Problems with german umlauts by using jmeters http-proxy
           Product: JMeter
           Version: 2.0.0
          Platform: PC
               URL: http://jmeter.cauni.de
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Major
          Priority: Other
         Component: HTTP
        AssignedTo: jmeter-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: icq@cauni.de

in version 1.9.1 the http proxy server didn't crashed, when sending
checkbox-values with e.g. value=männlich.
Now, in Version 2.0.0 the server crashes always.

here is a sample word of a saved testplan *.jmx from jemter.
"abgekürzt"

jmeter version 1.9.1
abgekürzter

jmeter version 2.0.0
abgekrzter

It seems so, that the version 2.0.0 does anything wrong ?? I didn't
understand this problem, because both version do a UTF-8 encoding, so I
think, both words must be encoded of the same way.

On site http://jmeter.cauni.de is a test website. "männlich" is the critical
value.

More information see on the jmeter mailing list.

Best regards,
Carsten
