   I lived under the impression that we have until Nov 7 to bugfix (namely VSCode extension). Moreover I prefer to release on time. E.g. my desired state: let essential bugfixes in and cut voting candidate on Nov 7!

   That would be my hope as well, but apparently sigtest didn't consider these changes as incompatible (or we are not running the check on these modules).
