John, I'm quite happy to do this but I'd like to understand the intent: is it because you want to skip the checks? Doesn't sound like a good idea. When are the times where you'd like to do this?

BTW this is already achievable through the use of profiles. Just put the clover:check goal in a profile activated by a property.
