[Bug 58109] New: Apache on windows cannot handle the hash symbol (#)
prefixing folder names
https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=58109
Bug ID: 58109
Summary: Apache on windows cannot handle the hash symbol (#)
prefixing folder names
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.4.12
Hardware: PC
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Platform
Assignee: bugs@httpd.apache.org
Reporter: sy.lee@thrivent.com
We are using HP TeamSite software for our web content deployments. In
TeamSite, there are previous versions of files that users can preview by
clicking on a link. The link opens a new window with a vpath to the file.
This used to work when we were using IIS, but when we moved to Apache 2.4 on
Windows, the feature stopped working.
According to HP, it's a bug in Apache issue where it is not able to read the
folders with hash marks.
