svnaccess installation..

hi..

i'm trying to install svnaccess on a test machine with a couple of test svn
repositories...

has anybody managed to install this on a linux machine that i can talk to..
i'm running into what appears to be either something misconfigured, or
permission errors...

if i can talk to someone who's gone through the install process, i can
probably figure out what's happened in a few mins..
