[jira] Created: (DIRSERVER-880) Provide Kerberos client

Provide Kerberos client
-----------------------

                 Key: DIRSERVER-880
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSERVER-880
             Project: Directory ApacheDS
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: kerberos
            Reporter: Enrique Rodriguez
         Assigned To: Enrique Rodriguez
            Priority: Minor

We could really use our own Kerberos client library. We have a lot of the necessary code in kerberos-shared. We would use this for:
o Integration tests
o Experimental pre-authentication types
o Experimental authorization mechanisms

Enrique Rodriguez commented on DIRSERVER-880:
---------------------------------------------

There is already an empty clients subproject with a module for Kerberos:
