I am thinking about the Hash from the whole, and realized that maybe someday, we will have many place that will hash:
1, the Cluster hash. to hash content to cluster members, used by the cluster to locate/save content.
2, hash_remap plugin. like the y! L7 balance, will make trafficserver function as a pure L7 hash loadbalance server like haproxy.
    hash that may take on all things that can be take from clients request, such as cookei, domainname etc
or anything others

from the use point, there is no conflict between the two hash usage. so, we will continue on the cluster consistent hash enhancement first.
