[jira] [Updated] (CRUNCH-83) Create a Maven Archetype for Crunch
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CRUNCH-83?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Matthias Friedrich updated CRUNCH-83:
-------------------------------------
Attachment: CRUNCH-83-Create-a-Maven-Archetype.patch
Here's the archetype. Install it via "mvn install" and create a new project using "mvn archetype:generate".
Version numbers used in the archetype's POM are from the parent POM, so it will stay up to date automatically. The archetype comes with an integration tests that creates a project and runs JUnit tests, so we'll notice if we break anything.

> Create a simple archetype to lower the barrier for playing with Crunch and to make documenting Crunch easier. The archetype should provide a simple example and promote best practices.
