caching on serialization ?

Hi,

    I'm trying to find caching on html serialization for instance.Having in 
mind application sitemap declares an html resource,global sitemap redirects 
to htmlserializer class....I don't see any direct cache access....
I guess it's implicit somewhere but can't find exact location.Someone could 
help me pls ?
