We need to highlight backwards incompatible changes.  A list Jira titles won't be sufficient.

For example, tables with Acid V1 (pre 3.0) data has to be major compacted before upgrade and may not process any update/delete/merge until after upgrade.  Not doing so may result in data corruption/loss.
