[jira] [Created] (CLOUDSTACK-6312) Guest VLAN creation and deletion claims IP Range Does not Match

ilya musayev created CLOUDSTACK-6312:
----------------------------------------

Summary: Guest VLAN creation and deletion claims IP Range Does not Match
                 Key: CLOUDSTACK-6312
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-6312
             Project: CloudStack
          Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Anyone can view this level - this is the default.)
Components: Management Server, Network Controller, Network Devices
    Affects Versions: 4.3.0
Environment: ACS 4.30 Advanced Zone, vSphere 5.5
            Reporter: ilya musayev
            Priority: Critical

I've setup ACS 4.3 Advanced zone and created many tagged guest VLANs.

I've realized that i over allocated IP addresses for some of guest VLANs, so i went ahead and deleted all guests using the VLAN in question to free ip space in use.

2 issues noticed:

1) The router that were using Guest VLAN in question after deletion did not release the IP space, the record had to be de-allocated via mysql

2)After the guest ip range has been deleted, i attempted to add the same network with smaller IP range, cloudstack now claims that IP range does not match - while it does!

Regards
ilya
