[I] Namespace not exists after creating the namespace by REST [iceberg]
zymap opened a new issue, #10656:
URL: https://github.com/apache/iceberg/issues/10656
### Apache Iceberg version
1.5.2 (latest release)
### Query engine
None
### Please describe the bug 🐞
When we use Tabular with the Iceberg rest catalog, the namespaceExists returned false even if the namespace is created.
Code example
```
if (catalog instanceof SupportsNamespaces catalogNs) {
boolean b = catalogNs.namespaceExists(Namespace.of("public", "default"));
// Map<String, String> meta = catalogNs.loadNamespaceMetadata(Namespace.of("public", "default"));
// System.out.println(meta);
catalogNs.createNamespace(Namespace.of("public", "default"));
for (Namespace listNamespace : catalogNs.listNamespaces()) {
System.out.println(listNamespace.toString());
// we can list the namespace public.default here
}
boolean b = catalogNs.namespaceExists(Namespace.of("public", "default"));
// the b is false, because the request uses an encoded name to query, the request will encode the namespace to public%1default.
System.out.println(catalogNs.loadNamespaceMetadata(Namespace.of("public.default")));
// returns true here.
}
```
We expected using the Namespace.of("public", "default") also can check the namespace existence and get the namespace metadata.

The tabular catalog doesn't support nested namespaces like `Namespace.of("public", "default")`. Given that this is a vendor-specific thing, I'll go ahead and close this issue.
