[jira] [Created] (HTRACE-60) Create a 'What is HTrace' commentary
section for the Website
Lewis John McGibbney created HTRACE-60:
------------------------------------------
Summary: Create a 'What is HTrace' commentary section for the Website
Key: HTRACE-60
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HTRACE-60
Project: HTrace
Issue Type: New Feature
Affects Versions: 3.1.0
Reporter: Lewis John McGibbney
Fix For: master
I think the website is dynamite.
I do however think that we could better communicate 'What HTrace is'.
This could potentially feature right as you land on the index.html, or we could potentially link to it from there and have an entire page with some graphs showing what tracing is good for and what trace visualizations look like.
I've not been able to implement HTrace in any serious setting however I am considering it for Apache Gora if I get the time.
What do you guys think about this ticket? I am think from the perspective of someone completely new to HTrace!
