[jira] Commented: (WICKET-12) open Modal Window without
AjaxRequestTarget
Matej Knopp commented on WICKET-12:
-----------------------------------
What's the use case?
It should be possible to open the window using just a javascript call (see the javascript ModalWindow component generates). However, without a really valid usecase I don't plan to support this directly.

> Wicket 1.2.2 included a new Modal Window component. However, this component can only be used with a valid AjaxRequestTarget. It would be useful if Modal Windows could be opened programmatically at any time without an AjaxRequestTarget.
