   I think as a user, my first thinking will be why not directly go to slack since that is not specifically reserved for dev-related discussion. The reason that I want to promote one over another is that it's too much to be active on two different forums. 
   
   I do see your point, however. I am wondering if there is a way to cross-post a question on the druid user group to druid slack channel so any activity happening on druid user group is also visible on slack.
