How to generate PDF bookmarks

Hi Friends,

 Could you please share the experience to generate bookmarks in PDF file? Just like the attached snapshot.

 In addition, Table not works well for "*.rtf" output in my own experience. Is there a defect on this?

Bruce,

I suggest you have transformed pdf file from Docbook source (xml) using Docbook XSL Stylsheets? If yes, your question mostly concerns the Docbook-related issues, not FOP itself.

But anyway... Did you turn on the fop1.extensions param (fo/param.xsl)?

<xsl:param name="fop1.extensions" select="1"/>

P.S. In case of Docbook-related questions, you can look at Docbook Apps mailing list archive (i.e. here: http://www.mail-archive.com/docbook-apps@lists.oasis-open.org/) or at Bob Stayton's book http://www.sagehill.net/docbookxsl/

This is what [Formatting Objects for Bookmarks] do (see XSL-FO $6.11 at
[1]).
See also FOP compliance page (at [2]), there are some limitations.

As a good practice, you should send one post by subject.
