Folks: Per Jacob Kjome's comment on 2003-01-22, this fix 
("request.tomcatAuthentication=false" into jk2.properties) solves the problem 
when using IE browsers.  With Nescape 4.7 and 7.0, getRemoteUser() returns an 
empty String, "".  Looks like it needs to be reopened.
