[jira] [Created] (AMBARI-13315) When Kerberizing a cluster, HBase
coprocessor properties in hbase-site are overwritten (and breaks custom
services)
Christopher Jackson created AMBARI-13315:
--------------------------------------------
Summary: When Kerberizing a cluster, HBase coprocessor properties in hbase-site are overwritten (and breaks custom services)
Key: AMBARI-13315
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-13315
Project: Ambari
Issue Type: Bug
Components: ambari-server
Affects Versions: 2.1.0
Environment: linux, hdp2.3
Reporter: Christopher Jackson
When enabling Kerberos the hbase service assumes it knows what values should be set for properties: hbase.coprocessor.master.classes, hbase.coprocessor.region.classes. In the case where a custom service is installed into a stack that adds values to these list properties, they are overwritten at the time of kerberization. Custom values should persist through the kerberization process.
