Does anyone knows this error?

When i try to login to cvs this error occurs:

cvs [login aborted]: connect to cvs.apache.org(209.237.227.194):2401
failed: Connection refused

Can anyone help me on this?

You should use www.tortoisecvs.org. It's easier than wincvs.
You will avoid a few pb that you have otherwise with wincvs.

Some antivirus programmes can make problems with working of cvs. Keep in mind!

Are you behind a firewall?
It might be that your firewall prevents cvs connections. If this is the 
case you need CVSGrab.
