When can we expect a new Commons Collections Release?

I'm assuming the new versio of Commons Collections would be
something like a 2.1 because the interfaces weren't changed,
but there are new classes and functionality.

I am curious because it is effectively causing me to wait to
upgrade my Avalon code to use it.
