Re: Releasing 2.2

So are we ready to go?

I will create a build and put it up do a vote tomorrow unless anyone
has any remaining items.

I just changed the default prefetch behavior in TranQL and this
addresses Matt's concerns. I believe that we should cut a TranQL
version now. If the TCK is broken due to this last minute change,
then I think we should re-cut a TranQL release based on the previous
SVN revision.

Thanks,
Gianny

That last "possibly TranQL" fix turned out to be an OpenEJB fix, so
it sounds iffy. Gianny any thoughts?

Matt, when do you expect to cut 2.0 M1?

Alright, we have a build for Yoko and Matt just published a new new
Tranql release that works (1.4.1)....

I've got everything building fine now with final versions, etc. so
I'll tag and post binaries shortly.

Just to follow up... Rick posted a request to the yoko list and they
are going to create the svn revisioned release!

Ok. Talked with Matt on irc and he's going to release TranQL proper
tomorrow if nothing comes in on the prefetch side of things.

That'd give us just one last snapshot, yoko. Rick, is it possible
that you could cook up a svn-revisioned yoko build that we could use
in openejb 2.2, geronimo 1.2beta, and geronimo 2.0m1?

DayTrader checks out in Direct, SLSB and EJB mode thanks to Gianny.
We have to verify JPA mode but its most likely configuration.

I've released:

TranQL-Parent 1.0
TranQL-Connector 1.3
TranQL-Connector-Derby-* 1.2

I'm waiting on tranql itself as gianny was going to take a look at
prefetch. David, we could probably branch tranql also and provide
1.4.1 in Geronimo if you need that.

Thoughts?

Sounds good. Things look good to me...

We have one last fix in from Gianny. Matt is testing it now. When
we verify that it's all good, I'll start the process of releasing 2.2

GERONIMO-2649: Insert of new EJB does not appear to be occurring
