[jira] [Created] (TAMAYA-178) Create new homepage skeleton based on jBake

Philipp Ottlinger created TAMAYA-178:
----------------------------------------

Summary: Create new homepage skeleton based on jBake
                 Key: TAMAYA-178
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TAMAYA-178
             Project: Tamaya
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: Website
    Affects Versions: 0.3-incubating
            Reporter: Philipp Ottlinger
            Assignee: Philipp Ottlinger

The newly created repo
https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator-tamaya-site.git
shall be filled with a jBake based template to host our new homepage.

We decided to migrate away from the deprecated maven-flow-skin in order to avoid problems with SSL/non-SSL links and provide a more dynamic means to create and polish our homepage.

that's the plan -
maybe we can use mvn generated stuff such as javadoc, but the website is
to be baked with jBake :-)

We'll see to bake in more dynamic stuff as well (such as the videos you
proposed).

Cheers,
Phil

So the new site won't use Maven site any more?

Wonder, if a part of "documentation", "presentations" or a similar section
could also point to embedded slideshare or videos like this by Anatole from
Voxxed Days Zurich: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgWeDAFET0o

For JSR 363 also in a JBake site http://unitsofmeasurement.github.io/
several videos, pictures or slides were embedded over time.
