CGI scripts fail to execute

Summary: CGI scripts fail to execute
           Product: Apache httpd-2.0
           Version: 2.0.40
          Platform: Other
               URL: http:///tmp/httpd.conf
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: All
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: pamajoff@yahoo.com

No matter what I try, my CGI scripts (that have worked well with Apache 1.3)
appear in the browser as text when using Apache 2.0!
I've read the documentation about the required settings and they look OK to me.
I've queried your bug database, but found nothing of use for me there.
(Hopefully I've included my httpd.conf file (for upload)).
